What you can expect from the Role
As a member of our roofing production team, your goal will be to cover commercial roofs with a variety of materials. You will also be responsible for binding, sealing and insulating structures.
Specifically you will:
Install or replace four and/or single-ply roofing systems, using waterproof sheet materials such as modified plastics, elastomeric, or other asphaltic compositions
EPDM, TPO, PVC, Modified-Bitumen, BUR, etc...
Install vapour barriers and/or layers of insulation on the roof decks of flat roofs, and seal the seams.
Cut roofing paper to size using knives; and nail or staple roofing paper to roofs in overlapping strips to form bases for other materials.
Install partially overlapping layers of material over roof insulation surfaces, determining distance of roofing material overlap.
Setup barrier, scaffolding, and any other measures necessary to provide safe access to roofs. Coat top layers to make a smooth finish, or embed gravel in the mod-bit for rough surfaces.
Position Requirements
Qualifications:
3 to 5 years’ commercial roofing experience.
Completion of secondary school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
Intermediate English skills
Skills:
Ability to safely work at heights
Can perform physical activities on a regular basis
Ability to organize and prioritize work
Analyze information and evaluate problems
High attention to detail
Can clearly communication with supervisors, co-workers and customers
Safely operate vehicles, mechanical devices or equipment

What you can expect from the Role
As a member of our Service team your goal will be to inspect, locate and repair commercial roof-systems.
Specifically you will:
Respond to emergency roof leaks or roof-related issues
Perform inspections to determine the root cause of issues (i.e. leak, tear, clog)
Repair or replace single and/or four-ply roofing systems using waterproof sheet materials such as modified plastics, elastomeric or other asphaltic compositions (including; asphalt saturated felts, hot asphalt and gravel)
Install vapour barriers and/or layers of insulation on the roof decks of flat roofs, and seal the seams;
Set up scaffolding to provide safe access to roofs
During inclement weather, provide services such as snow removal
Adheres to and enforces safety rules for roofing maintenance
Position Requirements
Qualifications:
Minimum 3-5 years’ commercial roofing experience

What you will be doing in the role!
You will be responsible for assisting our experienced roofers, while helping to maintain a safe, and clean worksite.
pecifically you will be:
Position Requirements
Loading and unloading materials onto or from pallets, trays, racks and shelves
Safely loading material into vehicles, ensuring that they are strapped, braced or padded to prevent damage
Bundling/stacking materials
Lifting heavy objects by hand, cleaning work areas and equipment to assist operators
Shovelling loose material, such as gravel, into machine hoppers, wheelbarrows and scrap trucks
Perform miscellaneous roofing duties under the supervision of a competent Production Roofer
Position Requirements
n order to have success you should be a team oriented worker, eager to learn and can follow direction. You will be physically able to stand, walk and lift materials for long periods of time and comfortable working outdoors and at heights.
And, you should also be/have:
Previous experience in construction or manufacturing
A valid driver’s license and means of transportation
Punctual, reliable and professional
Open to learning new skills
Able to communicate effectively with team members
Working at Heights / Fall Arrest Ticket
